Motif: Butter Yellow

This picture was taken last year at Ritchie's wedding. I saw it again today while I was going through my albums. I am super amused. I think it will take a while before I see myself again in a gown... particularly with this motif. HEHE.

Peace, Ritch! =P

Habit

Dictionary.com defines it as an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary.

It is also something I don't mind acquiring if it means having the liberty to go out with Lyn as often as we would like to and as long as our schedules would permit.

This time our tummies (or trip?) brought us to Zapata's. It was her first time to go there. Yay for that!

We had nachos and soft tacos. Yum. She had beef and I had chicken, which was cool since we just had a shared meal but we got to eat what we liked. (HAHA. I'm such a nerd.)

Johns and Janes...

and so we went. To and fro. To and fro.

That happened at the office last Wednesday after the pancit palabok fiasco from the day before.

Though all 11 of us felt weak by lunch time, everyone was good natured about it. I mean, what else was left to be done? We were all just thankful that nothing more serious happened.

Now everytime someone mentions palabok, the rest of us would wince and hold our tummies.

Boochiboo

Yes, I am confessing. I baby talk to my dog Kokei. Did that make sense?

It's a regimen now. Before I leave for work and as soon as I arrive, I'd go straight to him; pet him, rub his tummy, pat on his side, play with his ears, and cup his face between my palms. While I talk to him in... err... baby talk.

Booboo, Biboo, Boochibooboo... are just some of his baby names.

In turn, he'd gently nibble my fingers, sniff at my face, and hold out his paw.

Lately, he has had this habit of barking at me if I just zip past him. No, saying hello and calling him by his name won't do. I'd have to pause and reassure him that I'd be back. Seriously, it works.

I love, love, love my dog and he is so darn cute (though he barks like crazy at strangers. hehe)

Trading Paws

I slept at 3 a.m. and woke up around 7, which left me with 4 hours of sleep and an entire day trying to fend of the urge to doze off. I failed miserably at mass this afternoon.

Back at home, while doing chores, I chanced upon one of our cats and she was asleep.

Funny, I wished then to be a cat. Take naps anytime I want to. Climb trees or tall places and always land on my feet.

Cool huh? I'm not sure though if I'm alright with the chasing birds and eating mice part. HEHEHE

Chicken, Pasta, Tea and Lots of Stories in Between

Dinner with Lyn was the perfect way to cap the day. It has been a while since the two of us went out, but I'm just glad the long hiatus is over.

You're right, sis. It is serendipitous that both of us are back in the province, time is up for us to catch up from where we left of. A fun fill in the blanks game.

Love the dinner, love the stories. I still owe you lots more. =)

Write. Pray. Meditate.

Write. Pray. Meditate. I got that from a friend.

This was my writing haven about 4 years ago, the view from my uncle and aunt's backyard in Georgia.

I do hope I get the chance to sit by the lake again --to just write, write, and write so more.
